How many times have you reset and how long have they lasted?

I've reset 8 times.

~ Surda lasted for nearly 2 years
~ Surda lasted for 2 months
~ Ezreal lasted for 6 months
~ Surda lasted for 2 months
~ Nutella lasted for 4 months
~ Atheos lasted for 5 months

Current.

~ Lilycove, has lasted for 2 months!

I WILL NOT RESET AGAIN

I tend to reset every few months when I start to feel my town is complete...I stopped keeping count to be honest ^-^ no town ever made it to the 1 year mark

I've NEVER reset my town. I've had it since 2013 and don't want to ever reset it,
I have a 2nd town which I might reset after I'm done cycling though.

I reset once, that was right at the beginning though and only because I couldn't stand my characters hair and colour until I got shampoodles unlocked. Since then I've stuck with this town, I just have too much stuff to lose if I reset. The majority I wouldn't be able to get back and it would cost me a lot. Plus I'd miss my villagers, I know you can get them back but they won't be the same ones

my first town Dagobah lasted about 6 months
my second town after that Avallon lasted about 2 months.
My third town called Elysia lasted probably 2 months
my fourth town after that called Foxacre lasted 3 months.

After that I seem to reset my game every other few weeks, I can't seem to settle into a town anymore, my current town is called Kilcross, random name but I took inspiration from scotland and it just stuck its only 3 or 4 days old at the moment

I've reset twice:
-my first town ever, Paris, lasted for a little less than a year (I lost the cartridge once I stopped playing on it, lol)
-Nintendo (very creative) lasted for a little more than a year; I reset it because of Beau plotting right in front of my house but I was very unhappy with the layout and the name too

My current town is named Lumina, run by Mayor Corona. I don't think I'll ever reset this town.

I've reset about 3 times. I don't want to disclose the first 3 town names since it's slightly embarrassing, and even makes me uncomfortable.

• First town, got it Christmas of 2014. Didn't last long at all, don't even remember the starters. Reset within the first day because of reasons unknown.

• Second town, lasted for maybe a week (I was so bad OMG). I think I reset because I disliked the layout and Ken moved right in front of my house.

• Third town, this one lasted for about a year. I was quite happy with it, but still clueless about most tricks of the game, I hated a lot of my villagers and their house placements. I reset last January.

• Current: Kamiki. I've considered resetting this town many times, but I'm glad I didn't. I couldn't part with it now! I had finally learned how to villager/plot reset, and place PWPs and got a little better at landscaping. If this town corrupted by some small chance I would be heartbroken...

Ive never resetted a town actually! My very first town I didnt realize the landscaping perks of having a nice layout/how a bad PPWP placement can screw me so I just kinda went with it and by the time I realized how inconvenient a lot of stuff was I was too far in. My second town I put a lot more effort in getting a nice layout and really putting thought into permanent PWP placements so hoping it turns out nicer and I dont reset

Most of my towns only last for a few weeks before I reset mainly because the layout starts to get in the way or from extreme time traveling accidents. But I would never reset my current town it's the best town I've made by far and I want to keep it.

I've reset at least 3 times on my 1st copy.

My first town Himitsu lasted about maybe a month, until I learned you could transfer other characters to a different town. So I transferred my character from my brother's town and started Songflow. That lasted about two years until I got fed up with a certain villager, who ruined my town. Then, I reset that town back in July and started Sapphire. And now that I have knowledge about plot resetting and having some control over who moves in or out, I'm definitely never restarting this town.

I've never resetted on my second copy nor do I plan to.
