How many Series 5 Amiibo Card packs do you plan to buy on or around November 5th?

I'll buy three packs and hope I get lucky. I'm looking out for Dom, Raymond, Sasha, Ione, and Shino. Maybe Audie and Sherb too. I already have those two on my island, but I wouldn't mind their cards in case I want to move them out temporary. Hopefully these packs won't be sold out online.

I only want tianshengs amiibo and I don't fancy my odds of getting him with 3 cards a pack.
I will use other methods to get him to move to my island.

I have two packs on preorder that should arrive on the 11th. I wanted to try and find two more packs in store but have to work all weekend and won’t have time to try to in store until the 9th which is probably too late.

edit: now up to 5 packs since I was able to order 3 from Amazon. I’m good at 5 should give a good chance to get the villagers I would like.

In Europe you only get 3 cards per pack and they're a bit too pricey so I'll just wait for the .bin-files

I have or have had most of the March 2020 villagers and there are only a few of the new villagers I'm interested int, but I like collecting the cards so I pre-ordered 8 packs. They have 3 cards per pack here, so 24 total. I'll see what I get and hopefully have some doubles for trading, or just buy the ones I want off Mercari.

I haven't pre ordered anything yet I am not to sure If I want them. If I do end up getting some I would just get 1 pack or no more than 2

honestly it depends on if i can get them easily for a not insane price. i would like shino's and petri's amiibo card. i might wait and see what alternatives pop up and how easy it will be to trade these villagers and stuff like that

Depending on how lazy i am, i might pop over to Target when they open and see if they have any since the one near me opens at 7 AM. I'm not sure how locally popular they are. I might buy 1 or 2 packs, just to have them (and pray for Shino).

But in Europe you only have 3 cards per pack (1 NPC and 2 villagers I think).

well since the personalities dropped I have a better idea of who I am going to hunt for individually online over a long period of time. ( I have the worst luck with ordering packs)

I’m trying to collect all 48 cards, so I’ve preordered some packs and I’ll go to Target and Best Buy in the morning on launch day to try and get some more. I live in a very populous area so I’m not too hopeful about getting any in person, so I’m mostly relying on preorders at the moment.

If I can't get them for a reasonable price here then I doubt I'll bother getting them. I'm not hunting for anyone in particular, I would just like to collect some cards. But if they are ten euro here like some other places in Europe, I can't justify spending that on 3 cards.

depends how many they let you buy. no preorders have gone up for the UK yet, which i kind of prefer since it means i don't have to compete with bots, but my sister and i plan to go to our 'local' GAME day of release and see if they receive any. we'll probably only pick up two packs each anyway since they can be a bit pricey. (i think they're, like... £5/6 a pack.)

I really wish we got 5 villagers and 1 NPC instead of 2 villagers and 1 NPC - the NPC cards seem to be worth considerably less than the villagers online, which makes trading a hassle.

At this point, 0. Because I suck at scoring pre-orders (best I can do is indefinite cart limbo) and I doubt I'll be able to find any in person.
I was excited to trade cards here on TBT but at this rate, I'll keep dreaming
