How many screenshots and video clips did you take in New Horizons?

I always delete them immediately after doing the daily task.

On another hand, this is probably not the right thread to ask. But how do you record videos in Animal Crossing?

124 screenshots and 9 videos, I only take them when I want to capture something. Like I don't take a screenshot everytime the sky looks pretty, but when something interesting is happening with a villager. For videos most of the time I just want to rewatch or reread something.

I'm at nearly 9,000 (8,547 as of this post). I take a lot of screenshots of stuff just habitually (some are accidents too), but I also meticulously documented everything for my partner. We go through them and everything, like a photo album, lmao. Probably half of them are just me being like 'wow, I wish you could see the way the light looks on the water right now' or applying five filters to the same villager pose. I also love taking videos of cute stuff the villagers do and unfortunate stuff that happens to me!

I'm going to have to clear them out soon due to the 10k cap. :/

Hold and release the camera button - you should press it until you see the little spinning icon up top that indicates it's recording You can record the last 30 seconds that way (although I think it applies some sort of algorithm to figure out what to capture sometimes...?).

I took waaaay too many screenshot and videos, in fact after more than two years owing my switch I had to move stuff to my PC for th 1st time because the lack of space in the micro SD

200 might not sound like a lot, but for someone like me who only screenshots/takes a video when something really feels worth it and hates having a messy gallery... yeah that's a lot.
