How many public works projects?

Hi there so I’m curious as to how many inclines / bridges (projects) were aloud to make in the game does anyone know if there’s a limit I was told 6 is the max but seeing someone else’s map she has 8 so I’m a little confused

I was told it was 8 inclines and 8 bridges and hopefully that’s the case because I need all 8 inclines and maybe like 3 bridges
