How many of the summer DIY recipes have you learned?

I'm one of the many unlucky victims who hasn't received a single summer DIY recipe. But I sure have been collecting lots of blue shells for when I do get one!

So, spill the beans! How many recipes do you have?

I think I have.... all of them except for maybe 1 now? I was surprised at how easily I got them this time since I've barely been hunting balloons and I've just been popping ones I see while playing. Even got a dupe already lol

Summer shells though, I barely see... 2 a day max if I'm lucky, sometimes if I don't play for a long time I dont even see one.

I got them all, and not thanks to Isabelle lol. But now that I have them all Idk what to do with my growing pile of summer shells. If I sold them would there be takers?

I got all the summer DIYs. Only took 4 days to do, which isn't bad. I just went about getting them the same way I did with the cherry blossom DIYs, which is to stand in one spot, wait for the balloons to come, pop them, open up the present and hope its a DIY, lol

I'm not overly fond of them either to be honest... but hey, the collector in me is saying that I need them. And here we are.

Isabelle never seemed to want to give me that shell wreath recipe.

Tbh I found the summer seasonal ones suuuuuper underwhelming. For a minute let's ignore the amazing cherry blossom recipes. The bamboo recipes alone were so much more cooler and better, not only that but we got more of them, and more variety. Wall decor, a wand, floor mats, outdoor decor, a backpack. What does summer get? Legit like 4 wallings/floorings, a wand, and a purse. Not including the wreath, which imo is the best item, these items suck for summer. I'm really not big into the whole 'bring the outdoor water inside' aesthetic. Summer could have had SO much potential but it utterly flops compared to all the other seasonal recipes. Which is a huge shame cause summer is one of my fav seasons.

But, I time travel, so I tend to find them pretty quick

I actually made a side character who has a house on the beach just to use 'em all, since I think they're really cute~

There's been some speculation that the wedding event may be interfering with the first recipe that Isabelle gives out... but as I'm not time travelling on this particularly run of my island I'm not quite able to verify that yet.

All of them! At first, I was getting concerned since every balloon I popped did not contain a DIY. This led me to buying the shell wand DIY from someone on here, since that was the one I wanted the most. I bought the shell pochette DIY before summer started, not aware that it was seasonal. The walls and floors weren't that big a deal to me if I didn't get them, so I left it alone. Last night I did some landscaping for hours and I got balloon presents like crazy. Almost every other one was a new seasonal DIY, so I finished my summer collection with ease.

But of course i'm sure some of you went in and out of buildings, went to the left or right of the beach whichever was closest to the building you went in and out from, waited and got the balloon present.

The cherry blossom recipes were pretty brutal, so I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly I got all of the summer shell recipes. The summer shells themselves aren't spawning very much though..
