There was a time about a month ago when I grinded for Nook Miles because it felt good to see the number continuously increase. Nowadays, I just do a daily achievement if I need to complete the task anyway (e.g. watering flowers to clone them).

last time i went island hopping i used like 25k nook miles and didn't even find my dreamie

now im biased and I won't bother with island hopping. once i get coco's pic and boot her i'm buying pietro. xddddd

I have about 160k. I keep getting ‘lucky’ at island hunting and finishing after only 5-15 tickets. For me, I wish I could be just a little bit less lucky and use more like in the range of 30 tickets, cause I love island hopping. Not that I would take back finding Tabby (on ticket 8) for anything. You’ll get there op, at some point you just hit critical mass or something and then you always have a ton of miles.

But who knows, once I finally get Freya to move and go island hopping again, maybe it will clean me out!
