How many NMTs did it take for your dreamie?

I'm just curious. I'm super excited because Beau is moving out tomorrow (before anyone asks, he's going to my friend lol), and it will be my first chance to recruit villagers since I started really racking up the Nook Miles. I'm buying the NMTs now because it takes so long and I don't want to waste time once my plot is empty. I'm having a hard time estimating how many tickets I should buy though!

I've seen some people get super lucky and get dreamies in under 10 trips, seen some people spend 150+ NMTs and get nothing. So, out of curiosity, if you got your dream villager from a mystery island tour, how many NMTs did you spend before you found them? (guesstimates are fine)

Flora: 2 tickets
Tangy: 2 tickets

I've had freakishly good luck so far, but now I'm worried the pendulum is going to swing the other way and my next dreamie will probably take 100+ tickets. Haha

It took about at least 5 tickets to get Raddle. I was super shocked to find him as I was losing hope on getting him as my extra 3 starting villagers.

0, I traded felicity for punchy, and he's the only villager I really had to have

I did find audie after using 2 tickets today tho, feel like that was pretty lucky

Yeah! I actually saw a thread on who they saw with 100 Nook Tickets (can't remember the OP) and I got inspired! It's a long road ahead, and I already know I'm gonna give up and just buy them lol.

I found 2 of my dreamies using less than 5 NMTs when I wasn't even looking for them but if I am searching for a specific villager I won't find them at all welp.

The only villager I really island hopped for was Raymond, and that took 115 trips.

I have used 200 tickets to find Raymond (or Judy as a backup) and got neither.

I think it only took me 5 or 6 tickets to get Merengue. But I have a couple more dreamies, specifically Audie. I desperately want someone to move out so I can search for her, but my villagers are being really stubborn..

I did find Zucker with 1 Ticket after accidentally putting a plot down early, though.

I know someone who bought over 500 NMT with real money to try and get Raymond on island tour. I wouldn't do that because tbh there are so many lovable characters in this game. They don't have to all be the ones the fandom finds popular. My favorite villager is Filbert and I got insanely lucky because I didn't know I was supposed to be searching for 3 additional villagers in the beginning so I didn't bother. He was a rando who moved in OTL I cried.

I found Flora after about 5 NMT? And I found Audie after 7 (I was shOOK). Other trips though I have given up when I found someone I knew others would want (Lobo and Zucker) and I found the two of them good homes ;w; My next trip will be a search for Beau, Vivian, or Chief so I really hope I have good luck with that

Just to clarify, I was asking only if you actually took island trips and found your dreamie that way, not if you traded NMTs to another player!

yeah I have a list of four villagers I’m hoping to find one of with this move out. I have enough Nook Miles for about 100 tickets and at my current pace I could probably get 10-15k more tomorrow while Beau is in boxes. So I hope I find one of my four before then!
