Does anyone have multiple copies of the game to keep two towns at once? If not, do you think you ever will purchase another one?

I have a physical copy and I'm tempted to grab a digital download one as well. It sounds like having two could be really nice, but I do like putting all of my effort and time into my one town to make it the best that it can be. What will you do?

I've bought two copies.
I had one but my little cousin keep annoying me with wanting to play it, so I ended up just buying another copy for her so I wouldnt have to share lol

But the idea of having two towns sounds fun though.

I have the digital version but I've been thinking of buying a physical copy as well so I can have two towns. I just think it would be fun to have another town to like decorate differently, or make it themed or something. Or have the houses in the 2nd town have themed rooms, because my current town doesn't really have space for more houses (at least not any space where I would /want/ houses).

Now that I'm thinking about it though, all of that might be kind of difficult to do without another 3DS so I can travel between the two towns... dunno if I'll ever get another 3DS lol.

I bought two copies. >w< I'm actually thinking about picking up a 3rd. Perhaps a JPN region copy so I can get their holiday exclusives. haha

And people wonder why Nintendo refuses to allow for multiple town saves on a copy... Look at all the extra copies purchased on this forum alone for a second town!

I have two, but that's only because I bought the poptart bundle and I got a physical copy prior to that. Haven't started the second game yet though.

Just 1. Managing 1 town is plenty. I have other hobbies/games/things I do with my life that I wouldn't be able to manage more than that.

Just remember 3DS games are region locked, so you'd have to buy a Japanese 3DS too.

I think Nintendo learned the trick of this before Animal Crossing even existed. Pokemon is a good example of this. Each person has to have their own copy to play, and a lot of people buy the opposite version just to get the few different Pokemon, even though the core story/game are the same.

Yeah, and they call it a feature xD

I have two copies of the game :) One physical and one digital. I use one town to TT and the other is the one I got from day one and played normally. It's really convenient to have two copies tbh, if Gracie shows up, I can just order stuff then bring it over and same goes with any items. Instead of 10 villagers you get to keep 20 :')

i only have one copy of the game but now im tempted to get a second one just to have another town

I'm planning on buying the physical copy of the game so I can have 2 towns to work on.

I bought 2, one for me and one for my boyfriend. I only want one town because I like it that way. Just my one quaint little village to look after. ^-^

LOL poptart bundle... It looked cool. I should have gotten it -.-

Anyway, I am only having one town. I don't see why I would need two. If I did get another copy though:
1. Make sure its a Japan copy for their DLC
2. TIME TRAVEL TIME TRAVEL TIME TRAVEL.

Just one, I spend all day just in my one villager. It would be nice to have double the villagers, shop stock, and chance of Katrina or Gracie, but I wouldn't have time to keep both my villages up and not loose my job lol

I have the poptart XL which came with a digital copy and I a few days later took up the KMart ad and got a 2nd copy for $30. I'm VERY glad I did, too.
