How many copies of acnl do you have?

I have 2 physical copies, 1 3ds, and 1 3dsxl. I started with the XML, but then bid on the other 3ds on eBay on a whim because it was a great deal. And then I won, even though I had been expecting to be outbid.

I use my first as my real town. My second was meant to be a real town but has turned into cycling. I occasionally visit one or the other to buy stuff or dump stuff off I bought because I'm obsessed with working on my catalogue. I regret having ignored stuff before because I didn't like it- now I never see the stuff I refused to buy!

I even forgot to cycle in my shopping quest, so I'm trying to get back to someone in boxes so I can do the easy method again.

I've been contemplating a third copy lately that would be purely for fun. Just whatever I feel like. Time travel (without caring about villagers), storage on the beach, etc. but I haven't made the plunge yet.

It's nice not having to switch carts, unless I'm giving away a villager. Then it's easier to put my cycle town in my 3dsxl so I don't have to list a new friend code. I don't think I ever made a mii on the plain 3ds, so I don't have a fc yet. I just use the local function to visit.

I also like street passing myself.
 
Next week I will receive my second copy of New Leaf. I never really thought I would go this far >o< Because I used to think "Aawwweee, I breed, maintain my town and needy villagers all at once 'cuz im pro like that" but my boyfriend, JunJie, breeds so much faster than I do if he wants to.. I suppose I got a little jealous :rolleyes:

Ideally, I would want a second 3ds to go with that, but hey, money doesn't grow on a tree (atleast not in real life). Having that in mind, I figured a digital copy paired with a physical one would be the best combination then (less switching :/). Of course I do not follow my own advice and go cheapskate on a second-hand physical copy instead. I secretly hope the town won't be resetted before it's shipped to me! Anyways, I am pretty psyched to get my second copy - I have never gotten two of the same game >w<

I am planning on using this second town for creating gold roses and other pretties. I will try not to care about my villagers there, put my house close to the beach and that kind of stuff. I will be picky though >;o With the name, map.. Urgh, it's gonna take forever untill I will be finally playing it.

In short, I have two copies, both cartridges and only one 3DS . I will use the second town for rapidly breeding flowers.
 
Just one :o And its a physical copy. But my brother has one too and sometimes I'm the one who plays it too. xD I have considered another copy but figured that I can only manage one town so I might not get one anymore. LOL
 
Just one, physical copy. I'm not likely to get another copy, since I play other games too and I need any spare money to buy them instead XD
 
I also just have the one physical copy, because my money and time are limited. I think it's cool that others enjoy using different towns for different goals, though. :)
 
i have just one. if i were to get another, i wouldn't stress so much about dreamies and stuff (not)
 
I just have one. Sadly, my first copy was misplaced and never found. So I bought a second copy about 2 weeks ago
 
I have three. One digital and two physical. My main is digital, my first town was on a cart but has since been remade into what is now my secondary town and the other is used for cycling and flower hybrids when the mood strikes. I also have an original 3DS I use for that and a XL as my main.
 
i cant believe that some people have 8 copies, crazy. I have 2 copies and 2 3ds systems and although I may buy a digital copy for my main system eventually ( both mine are physical ) I think im good with my 2 towns for now.
 
I have one and my lil sister has a digital one on her two ds. However, she's very new at AC and often doesnt have time to cycle out villagers she doesnt want out pf her town so she lets me use her town basically as a sort of cycling town so that I can get her cute villagers ^^ It's great cus that way I can sometimes find turnips being bought at rly high prices in her town.

She also set the year of her town to 2013 by mistake so it's kinda funny seeing events at very different times than now lol
 
At one point I had another 3ds and another game, but i gave them up wheni gave up cycling. It was nice having a second town, though, while it lasted.
 
I have only one, a digital copy.

I may plan on getting a physical copy one day to use on my other 3DS (I have 2 3DSs).

Digital was first but then I got a Powersaves only to discover it worked only on physical copies, so I got one of those used. So now I have one legit town and one not so legit town...
 
Three. Two regular towns (one still in progress) and a cycling town. Cycling town might one day be resetted to become another 'real' town...
 
I have two copies. Both physical. The first one my main and my second was going to be cycling/time travel, but it ended up as just a second town.
