How many characters do you make?

Out of curiosity...

Do you make one person (your mayor) and focus entirely on them?

Do you have your main charrie and a pattern slave?

Do you make four full people with different purposes?

I have two characters. I only really made the second one so my first house would look like it's in a better place. My mayor has the patterns as at the time, they were the one who placed them and I can't be bothered to swap it. One house is normal and one just has one room, I can't be bothered to do much more with it. XD

I'm going to be making four people with different purposes and also to hang on to some patterns. There's myself as the mayor, a knight for a medieval castle, a chef for restaurant and the fourth character...well, I don't know yet.

I have 3 characters, because I let my sister and my boyfriend play it too, using their own characters

I only have the one character but I am thinking of making another one just for more path spaces. The only bad thing will be having to pay off another home loan, I've just finished paying mine off a few days ago.

I plan on having only one character, or maybe two if I decide I want more pattern space, or another house to decorate. :3

I have 4 characters in each of my 2 towns. There are so many different furniture sets and items that I love that I need all the space I can get. 6 rooms in each houses plus the 4 rooms in each musuem makes 56 rooms. The mayors' have 5 of the 6 rooms and the other 6 characters have 3 rooms so far. I mainly play as the mayor, but the others do come out of their houses each day to go shopping (working towards getting mannequins & silver watering cans).

I have 4 because I like decorating houses...I am working on upgrading all of them and almost done...the decorating is crap, only because I still need a lot of furniture pieces. I mainly play on my Mayor character though, the others are mainly for houses and to order things from the home showcase etc. Having extras come in handy when Sahara is in town and other events as well.

All four - it lets me decorate so many more rooms and keeps me busy enough so the game doesn't lose my interest.

I currently have 3 and I will be making a 4th once I've got all my dreamies moved in. I mainly use them for patterns but I'm also making their houses into things like a bathhouse and a cafe. :3​

Me and the Villager. Yes the Smash Bros one. He's mostly a placeholder/guinea pig so he can be deleted and remade, but he also helps with making sure certain villagers never come back. With his axe.

i have 2 people - a mayor who is a girl, and a boy who i use mainly for patterns. but i wouldn't call him a pattern slave or mule because i do actual use him to play and stuff, just not as much as my mayor.

Just one, me. I like it that way. I don't think I'll use paths but I have designed some nice 1 tile ones, which leaves quite a few spaces for accessory tiles if I do so choose to create a path. I also feel like 6 rooms + 4 museum rooms & all the closet space will be enough to have all the items I *love*.
