How many characters do you have?

How many characters do you play with? If you have more than one, why?
Do you play the same way with both?

I'm thinking of creating an extra character, but I'm still not sure..that character would be for holding more patterns, however I'm not too happy with the idea of taking more PWP space for a new house. I'd also have to save more money to decorate and expand a new house...but I'd really like some new patterns.

I have three characters. They all live neatly in a sort of square grid ( with room for a fourth in case I need one ). They're mainly there for pattern holding, but I do go on them everyday to make sure they don't get bedhead and what not. Otherwise I just spend all my time on the mayor.

I have one. My reasoning is that I only need a few designs and I don't really need all the extra storage. But, I'm not against making another in the future if needed.

Currently, I have 3 characters, and I'm planning on making a fourth once I can figure out where to put his house. I have them for using the houses, and I plan on doing sort of themes for them. My main character will have a sort of mixed house (just how I feel like/end up decorating it), my second character has a fancy (rich boy) theme, my third character has a lolita theme, and my fourth character will have a mad scientist/quirky theme.
I really only seriously play as my main character, but I use the lolita character for extra storage and trading.

I have two and want to add two more. There are so many room ideas that I need to have all four fully upgraded houses to fit them all!
I have no idea where to put them and considering added them today or tomorrow just to be sure they have a spot. I wish I had picked a different spot for my house as well as some pwp's that I cannot demolish but too late now.

You can turn their houses into libraries, schools, museums, gyms, w/e you want lol

It's a pretty cool idea that I know people have been doing with their extra houses

Yep, it's nice when people do this. But for yourself/anyone who visits your town, you can also use the extra rooms in the museum for this kind of stuff.

That actually sounds prretty cool! I'd love to see some towns that did that (dream code suggestions, anyone?) but that convinced me to make a new character without worrying about wasting space! I'll just have to think of something nice to build.

This is the Dream Code to a Japanese players village who has set up the other characters homes as a school, restaurant, and I think the other one was a library/arcade: 2800-1439-3680

As for characters I only have two right now. First is my mayor character and the other I'm using to there house to save a spot I'll be using for a PWP and also as storage.

I don't need extra characters to hold patterns since I'm only using 3 for the path tiles. I might, however, create an extra character much later on in the game, just for fun, and it'd be a male character since I've never played AC that way.

i have two characters! one is my main, obviously, and the other i made to hold path patterns because they take up so much room.

i plan on making her house into something themed like what you guys were saying earlier about the library or gym. such a cool idea!

Just the one. I haven't laid out paths yet, but I've decided to just use one pattern for those. I'm also not really a heavy user of patterns in general, so I don't really have the need for another character.
