How long would it take to get every fish and bug model?

How long would it take to get all of the fish and bug models from CJ and Flick? Assuming that you don't visit other towns and only get a model when Flick or CJ visits your town, and that you never miss a visit and always have 3 of a new critter to get a model of, how many days would have to pass until you could get all 160 models?

I'm assuming this would be a multiple year long thing.

CJ and Flick visit about once a week, but it's not guaranteed for them to show up in a particular week. Assuming you actually did see each of them once a week, that's 80 (80 fish/80 bugs). There's about 55 weeks in a year, so this is about a year and a half. It'll most likely take longer than that though because, again, they don't always visit every single week.

You can make it take less time if you have multiple characters on your island. Each character can request 1 model per visit. If you have 3 characters, for example, you could get 3 different models per CJ visit and 3 different models per Flick visit.
