How long was your ACNH break?

Honestly I've been on a break on and off since April of this year. So 4-5 months. I think I've played maybe 5 times over that period... but now I am feeling like I'm ready to get back into it soon, especially as we're going into the holidays. It would be nice to decorate and try to finish gathering the DIYs I missed last year.

I think I've hit the point where I'm actually missing it rather than it being a chore. Before it was getting kind of stale and I avoided playing as there was little left for me to do. I had been hoping to put it aside a week or two, in the hopes that new content over the summer would drive me back. Obviously that never came together so a short break kind of got strung out long term. I really miss my island and just doing simple everyday tasks on it. Maybe I'll pick it back up soon- who knows!

from now, i plan to take a really long break until, maybe, October cause that's when it's halloween season & turkey day & november for the mushrooms & Maple Leaf Season, & december, cause that's when it's toy day & the Festive Season in december :>

I had to take a break around June of 2020 because I lost my job due to Covid and couldn't afford to pay my bills. Had to sell my switch and just got one last month. ^^

I restarted because of my long break. I stopped around december of last year and picked back up last month - so around 8 months? I restarted because I wasn't happy with my island - which is why I stopped playing in the first place.. and now I'm back at it again. The fresh start keeps me coming back to play for now, and if I keep at it hopefully I can make it through all the things I missed out on last year.

A few days at most. There are days when it feels like "Chore-Crossing" instead of animal crossings, and I get tired of doing just daily things to keep up the town. So I just let it all go until I feel up to it.

Three months, which was less due to anything on ACNH's end and more just me getting swamped at work. I normally play ACNH during my work lunch since I'm usually busy on weekends. For the past few months, I'd just been taking power naps or reading on my work lunch just to get away from the screen for at least one hour of the day. I feel so old typing this out. Thankfully things will be calm after this week, and I managed to squeeze in some weekend playtime today (so many weeds).

I took most of the summer off and only came back for one Sunday in August. FFXIV was taking up most of my gaming time. I started playing again because I feel really inspired to build.

I haven't played since this past spring...I stopped right before Bunny Day 2021. I played for the year before that and kept a daily paper and pen and sticker journal. It was great spending one or two hours with the game daily...but at the year mark...I was feeling a bit bored. I will probably head back when these upcoming updates happen.

My most recent break was a 1month. Before that I played pretty regularly (3 to 4 times a week) in July but prior to July I hadn’t played since Jan. so my longest break was 7 months

Basically a year, I think. I stopped playing because my joycons were dying and I was having a really hard mental struggle to not be able to do what others do with their islands, but now I'm playing a lot recently! It's really nice doing my own thing, and I hope all the updates to come make the game interesting.... more so than a shoe collab.
