That was my very first town, where I knew absolutely nothing. I had it for months, and the only thing I ever did was get a fountain put it and killed a lot of trees, by putting them into the wrong spots...
I've been playing on and off, since then. Resetting constantly.

I have been playing ACNL every day for almost a year and a half now. That's the longest I've ever played an Animal Crossing game. And I haven't even restarted my town! I don't have much to do in my town anymore, but I just like checking in on my villagers.

I've been playing since about a week after it was released. Sometimes I don't play for a few months or so, then I start back up again. I've restarted a lot of times, so when I restarted yesterday after not playing for a few months, I really tried to pick a town I felt I would stick with even after I don't play for a while in the future. I'm fully back into it now though, so that shouldn't be tested for a while yet!

I played since it came out, there was long breaks for about 4 weeks [at least they have the keep town name beautiful law], I'ts been a year and a half since the release date. Will they make one for next year on wii u?
