Over a year, founded my town June 26, 2013 and never restarted. Haven't played every day though, I go a few months on, a few off as I get bored then interested again.
August 17 will mark exactly one year from the date I started my first town, Applewin, with "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."
I am stimulated still by the game, and am currently working on creating a new town to replace my second town, Progress, which doesn't quite serve what I'm wanting. At the same time, I'm taking a chance on the replacement town I've selected once I start transferring Progress villagers over to that new town.
The Bell Tree Forums has a thread alerting people to please use the "["General 'AC' Discussion"] board for topics addressing the next version of "Animal Crossing." I have, for a while, wondered if the game has sustained people's interest. So, I went ahead and stated why I'm still into the game. And I will trust there is a similar feeling among those who have been playing for a period of time that is comparable to myself.
Got the game on the NA release date (June 9, 2013) and I actually remember that I started at like noon and played for like an hour (timed 54 minutes from when I booted it up to when I paid off the 10k debt, yeah I'm pretty weird, I know) on my first sitting. I have been playing for pretty much everyday, but some days I don't play as long as other days and sometimes just don't play at all because that's what real life just does to you. Not even my town is considered complete yet because I still have some landscaping to do and I'm lazy with my alt's houses. Rambled on a bit, but whatever. Poll results shock me slightly because I didn't expect so many people to still be playing, I thought many quit after like the first month or something.
