How long does it take you to get to Tortimer's island?

I'm wondering if the time it takes me is normal. When I get on the boat it saves, then it says "we will be arriving soon" for about 10-15 minutes... And Kap just keeps whistling on and on and on and on and on...

Normally it doesn't take longer than 15-20 seconds for me. I use the Regional (USA) Island the most often. I think I've only had one instance where it ran a very long time where I ended up just d/cing out because it took so long.

Maybe a minute at the most when I'm close enough to the darned router. I never hear songs, just the same whistling over and over. I wish I could hear variations! I don't go often, tho. Just once in a while when I'm in the mood to run to the top of my basement stairs and play around with getting a good enough signal.
