How long do you spend designing?

I've spent as little as half an hour and as long as 3 hours (give or take getting up, and doing this in between so not a solid 3 hours)

Depends on what I'm building/who I'm building for. Some houses I do in like 2 minutes, and some have taken my multiple hours.

about 15-20 mins on average. the longest ive taken was designing the office building, which took about 45 mins.

The longest time I've spent designing something, was the Restaurant at around 40 minutes or so.

20 mins to 2 hours, on average. If it's a public building, it can be up to 3 hours.
The shortest amount of time I spent was about 8 mins on Charlise because I wanted to get out of there as fast as possible.

If its a villager i dont care for but need for the items they unlock it takes me a few minutes. On houses i care about it can take about a hour.

I pour my heart into cute villager's houses but I have a spare QR sign that says "I suck" and stick it in their house when its a villager I hate. Its good to add to houses when you just want a new emotion! ^^

If I go in having a clear vision of what I want to do I bang out a house in 10 or less minutes otherwise it takes about 20-30 minutes on average, except for facilities which take 40-60 minutes. I'm pretty slow!

Usually around 15-45 minutes, mostly dependent on the theme and size of the house/number of rooms. The big public projects take me a long longer than a normal house.

I usually take 20 minutes if I'm interested enough in the theme. But I definitely take a longer time for the facilities

Usually 30 minutes to 1 hour or more for facilities. I treat all villagers equally (even if I didn't like them in New Leaf) so I spend time and make the best out of my available furniture to decorate their homes.

It takes me about 10 to 15 minutes if I am absolutely focused on the house. I tend to get distracted by other things when playing the game so sometimes it takes longer. I'm just focused on getting as many items and collections as a I can so I can really decorate the houses with more than just the new items the animals bring.
