How long did it take you to obtain your dream town?

How long did it take you to have your dream town? (dreamies, public works prodjects, etc)
My town isn't done yet so I don't know

Two months since I started and I'm not quite there yet. With some fairly casual play I've managed to obtain all my dreamies. (Still have to plot reset for Erik, though, and I might move out a few later. Maybe.)

Still just one human resident, though I finally have room now that Portia is gone so I might make my 2nd character tonight.

I have a pretty good idea of what I want things to look like, so it's just a matter of getting the things and putting them down. Unfortunately that will take a lot of flowers, bushes, trees, and PWP suggestions that my villagers refuse to give.

Since I got an official plan, I'd say it's been about half a year and I'm still not finished. At the very least, I've got all my dream villagers, though.

Still working on mine been at it since I saw how beautiful they can be so maybe 3 months in now.

I work very slowly on my town so I won't get bored of it ^^;
Took me about 7 months to get all my dream villagers, and my town is still a huge work in progress even after a year All pwps I need are already available though!

I finished mine yesterday, and I've been playing since the release. I took a six month break in between though. Nectere looks spectacular!

Mine took about a year, but every now and again I'll make some changes like different paths, or switch up some PWPs or flower arrangements, and I have 2 slots for temporary villagers so I get to meet new faces every so often

I don't really think you can finish a town. Many people might disagree but that's just what I think haha
