How long did it take you to get blue roses?

So, I've been trying to breed blue roses for the past few months now. It started by trying to get hybrid reds and now I have 8 hybrid reds (yes I grow my hybrids on the beach). I have been putting fertilizer in the middle of the batch for the last month and no blue roses are showing up. I know they're hybrids cause I've gotten white and purple roses. Is this typical? Am I unlucky? Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions are appreciated.

oh that's really strange? it usually takes me a week at MOST to get any hybrids, including blue roses.
i suggest to time travel a lot, (if you do that) and change your town ordinance into the beautiful town ordinance . if you havent already

if you bought them from another person on the forums or something like that, there’s a chance they were hacked and not grown...

I’m currently trying to get blue roses, and at least I was lucky enough to get the red roses, now I’m trying to get the blue ones, ahhhh

nope, all handmade. I do time travel, but that's about the extent of "hacking" I do.

If you're having this much trouble would blue roses, maybe you should buy some from someone on the forums? But, it makes sense if you just wanna get them on your own

I worked on growing blue roses for a solid 6 months or more before I got one to show up. Six whole months of watering only my hybrid reds and using fertilizer for just a single blue rose. After that, I gave up and bought a breeding pair from a user on here. I couldn't wait another 6 months for the second one. That was ridiculous.

It also took me a ridiculously long time to breed blue roses (something like numerous months) on my own, via the recommended methods. Then I promptly TTed and forgot to set the perfect town ordinance and they vanished. ;__;

If you plan on sticking it out, I've heard that once you have two, they breed like rabbits. If you plan to purchase on here, definitely verify with the trader that you need a BREEDING pair of non-hacked roses, as the opposite will only yield white roses.

I've always tried breeding my own, but it never works. I just gave up and my friend gave me some of hers to breed lol

I never tried to breed them because I've heard a lot of stories of it taking an absurd amount of hours just to get one, let alone two. I've just bought a breeding pair from here and got them that way
