How far into the Future?

A lot of people either do or have Time Travelled in New Leaf.

I used to do it regularly until I got most of my dreamies.

I was wondering what's the furthest into the future you've been?

Anyone braved the 31st December 2999? lol

I went back to 1999 in Population Growing once I think.

But in WW I travelled to 2016, and I believe it was 2006 at the time.

I travelled to 2022 and back once to test out and see if anyone would move out after having last denied someone. No one moved out, so to me it's been safe to assume that it doesn't matter how far you travel into the past or future, no one will leave as long as you make sure to have either denied or accepted a moving out request beforehand.

This is great information. I thought this was the case. I once traveled a month into the future on accident, and no one moved out. I nearly had a panic attack until I figured out everyone was still there. Gawsh.

Yeah this is how I've been able to TT many times through various seasons for Gracie items or my birthday without losing a single villager to it.

When i got my second game "Farmland" i time traveled to 2025.It was so i could get the zodiac set.Other than that, i don't time travel much.

There is no 2999, so no. I've been to the furthest the game is able to go with cycling.

I have only tt'ed about a month ahead. I messed it up once by playing Halloween twice without first denying a move and I lost Roscoe. I am close to getting him back but Lucky won't ask to move. I was tt'ing through September repeatedly, but two of my villagers have birthdays this month so my mailbox was getting flooded with "Come to my party!" letters. lol

I thought that same thing once before. It made me wonder what would happen if it reaches the end of 2050... although, I imagine by that time there'd be LOADS more new AC games out, so people would just move on to the newer ones and the year wouldn't matter. I'd be in my 60's in 2050, so I doubt I'd still be playing ACNL by then.
