I'm several months behind in my game, and I want to catch up quicker than how I currently am (which is basically me binge-playing a bunch of days in a row during one session). I'm tired of playing the game in summer when there's snow outside my window. I would love to skip over some longer stretches of days. I was wondering what would be a safe amount of time I can skip at one once without one of my villagers deciding to move out?

I'm not a time traveler myself, so I could be wrong, but I personally think it's best to do a little bit at a time, and check in between. You're never too sure of when a villager will move out, and traveling too far in the future could do that. ; n ;
I recommend hearing from someone other than me though u v u'

If a villager asks to move out and you decline, you can time travel as far ahead as you'd like without any villagers moving! c:

Yup. And if you want to be extra careful, just start up the game with a new character to make sure none of your villagers moved out, though they shouldn't have.

Thanks, guys! I guess I'm just a bit paranoid about one of my fave villagers skipping town while I do this. I've had villagers move out without telling me even when I played each day. ;A;

So if I started a new character and saw that one of my villagers were gone/in boxes, I would just not save and go back several days and check again?
