Oh. I thought it was a special glitch to make them move faster or something, lol.

no, haha. if you want them to move faster it's better to time travel into the future. but voiding is something a lot of people want to avoid because a voided villager can end up in someone else's town by accident. (if you void a villager and then have a friend over to your town, the villager might move into your friend's town (if your friend has less than 10 villagers) which not everyone likes.)
