How do you think Wilbur saves you from the wasps/tarantulas/scorpions every time you faint on a Mystery Island?

And does anyone think Wilbur is really sweet for saving you every single time you faint, and watching over you while you regain consciousness? I wonder what it is like for Orville, having to receive reports that the player has fainted for the 100000th time from scorpions

I think I saw that before too. And there was also another one drawn by a Japanese artist of a gijinka Wilbur holding a sniper rifle while carrying the player away.

oh yes lmao ditto about the sniper rifle gijinka. i think it's a consensus within the ac artist community to draw him as a super buff gijinka. we love consistency. i think it fits him pretty well

These are all excellent theories. I'd like to propose the idea that he removes his sunglasses. The ruffians are so intimidated by his gaze that they scatter immediately. Alternatively, his sunglasses are his power limiter. Removing them allows him to fight at full strength; mere bugs are no match.
