How do you terraform the rocks by the beach?

I have heard you can do that but no matter how i try, i just get the bump animation when i try to terraform it. Or you can't just terraform rocks by the beach.

You can't terraform the rocks by the beach or the beaches at all.

You have to take your regular shovel, eat 10 fruit, and hit the rock 100 times (doesn’t matter where, just hit it). You definitely need to craft more than one shovel because if you leave to go craft more mid-hit streak, it will reset and you’ll have to start over.

The only bad thing is after you break it, a new beach rock will form somewhere else so....

it’s kinda best just to leave it.
