Ever since Wild World, I've used letters addressed to myself (5 to be precise) to store my fishing rod, bug net, shovel, watering can, and slingshot. It helps to free up space in my 16 pocket inventory and puts good use to my mail slots. I wish Nintendo would give us a damn tool box in the next installment. That'd be really nice Nintendo.

What about you? Do you use letters too? Perhaps you let them linger in your pockets? Maybe store them in your closet until they are needed? I'm very curious.

I use my tools so frequently that I keep them in my inventory so I can click through to the one I need. I also don't use my slingshot for anything so I don't even put in with my other tools (it never leaves my closet tbh). I use my wet suit in place of my slingshot so it's still only six slots.

I store my shovel, watering can, fishing rod, net, and megaphone in my inventory because I use those pretty often.
My other things like the slingshot and wetsuit and axe I store in my letters. I reallllly wish nintendo would implement a separate... tool storing bag or something, they take up so much room sigh

I keep my Fishing Rod, Net, Watering Can, and Shovel in my inventory since I use them all the time. I keep my Wetsuit and Axe in my letters, along with some Throwing Beans, a Bubble Wand, and a Pinwheel (I guess those count?). I kept my Slingshot in there, but then I got the Gold Balloon Popping badge, and I happily retired it permanently.

I really don't understand why there isn't a separate tool box or backpack or something. I mean, they already have the bag you receive from Jingle on Toy Day, which trades one inventory slot for ten, so the idea is already basically implemented.

In my pockets, I also sort them out. Bug net and Fishing Rod, Shovel and Watering Can, Wetsuit and sometimes Axe.

I hope in the next game you can buy a book bag or some kind of bag from Timmy & tommy. It would put extra slots and it wouldn't take long to sell bugs, fish etc.

I store them in letters when I'm not using them. The first thing I do in-game is take out my watering can and shovel. I water my flowers, switch to the shovel, and hunt for the money and gem rocks. Then I put them away and take out either my fishing rod, net, or wet suit (depends which catalog I'm working on).

I've done it since I started WW. It's just convenient and keeps my inventory organized.

My watering can, shovel, axe, and bug net are in my pockets to fill those top four spaces, and my fishing rod, megaphone, and slingshot are in my mail. I get a lot of mail and hate saving it in the post office, so I don't like to put too much up there.

I keep my slingshot, watering can, and axe in my letters. I usually wear my striped wet suit all the time xD and my net, pole and shovel in my pockets

In my inventory since I use them often.
I usually keep the "fun things" in my mail slots such as a balloon, wetsuit, tweeter, beans,...etc.

I put tools that I don't use that often in letters.. Like slingshot, wetsuit, axe, and umbrella.
Others I keep them in my inventory cuz I use them too often.. Well, I'm holding my watering can most of the time so I keep Shovel, fishing rod and net in my pockets. :3
