How do you sell things for over 10mill?

I understand the dropping off 99k bell bags but your inventory only holds so much. How do you sell something to someone for a price that is agreed upon for more? Like people in the villager section are selling for 35mill. Can you access your own bank while in another person's town? Do you just keep running up to main street with each other to access the bank and hope no one runs off before the deal is done?

I'm sorry if this is the wrong spot, I couldn't figure out if this was more for the general section or should I post it in a trading section. I've been wondering this for awhile and decided to make an account literally just to ask this cause it has really been bugging me.

As the person receiving bells, you put up items for sale in Retail for 999,999 each and the buyer will be able to effectively transfer 1M at a time. My suggestion as the seller is to preemtively load up Retail and your bags with the number of items you will need (eg: selling for 10M, have 8 items in Retail, 2 in your bags). Having a Retail close to Main St will help. If not, you can set up an ABD in the house closest to Retail. My suggestion for the buyer is to have 5 mail slots for bells - you can carry 2M at a time, cutting your travel time in half (vs holding 1.6M and only being able to pay 1M at a time)

Yes you can access your bank account in another town. You can drop bells - a full inventory holds approx 1.6 mil but don't forget you can attach 99k bags to empty letters as well so a full pocket can hold approx 2.5 mil. Dropping bells can be a pain, so when it's a large amount you'll hear of people using the "retail method". That's when the host puts up items eg flowers for sale at retail for 999,999 each. That way the bells get transferred straight into their account and appears the next day hope that helps!
