I go with the flow, but from time to Time I time travel just because I missed something, or a store is closed, etc. I also don't mind dreamies, I'm really ok with it, actually. I make my hybrids so I go with the wind. Other than that, I go with trying to do as many PWP's as possible, etc.
Originally I was like most on here, starting the game already fully kitted out in my gold tools, bells and hybrids. I often time-travelled too.
Then I finished my house and catalogue, and it just got boring.
I restarted about a week ago, playing 100% real-time. It's been slow going, but I definitely tend to interact with my villagers more, and focus on my fish/bug collections. It's quite satisfying.
I like doing everything quickly. You have the ability to rush and get things done fast, so I see no problem with using that advantage to get your town just how you want it.
I'd like to say I'm the "go with the flow", natural kind of person, but sadly I'm way too impatient for that. I'm trying to get out of the habit though and savour the day instead of time-travelling two weeks worth in less than 24 hours. ╥﹏╥
I rush things through, just because I like to get people villagers they want if I don't want them. Also, I time travel to get dreamies and such, since they can appear in campsites while tting. Once I get all my dreamies I think I'll stop time traveling, just to actually enjoy it more I guess .
It kind of depends but I'd say I go more with the flow. Recently I've been getting more & more of my dreamies so I've been doing a lot of TT-ing & have been getting my town more like how I want it in the process; so I guess you can say I was kind of rushing things in that sense. But beforehand & now, I'm going with the flow of things. As much as I'd like to have things done quicker at times, I know that taking my time & waiting for them will be just as good & worth it. I've only got one dreamie left to get so I'll probably be TT-ing to get them, if needed. After that, I'm set to go with the flow again.
Hmmm. I think I'm a little in the middle. More to the 'go with the flow' side though. I don't like to TT, but I do buy my dreamies when I see one for sale. I don't really look for them, but I won't let the opportunity pass me by when I see one!
I don't buy hybrids or furniture. I want to do as much as I can on my own.
I am currently trying to get PWP's by using the ocean trick.
for me it's kind of a combination of both.
i go with the flow of the game, but at the same time i'm trying to unlock everything as fast as i can so i can make my town really pretty and do things that i can't normally do without the unlockables. ya feel?
Other than that, I go with trying to do as many PWP's as possible, etc.
