How do you maintain a turnip price?

So my bf's town was selling turnips at 612 and we wanted to hold the day. We unfortunately messed up somehow by time travelling an hour back for 9am to 8:05 am. And the turnip prices became 60. So my question is how would someone keep the price the same for a week? I know it's possible. But I'm not a time traveler so I don't know how to do it.

freezing the time. going backwards will ALWAYS change the turnip prices. take note of the time you exit the game, and before you load it again, when you set the time make it a minute after. the game won't detect you time traveling.

I think in the recent update, turnip prices change if you TT backwards so you wouldn't be able to keep that 612 price for a couple of hours, never mind a week.

np! i agree with what @kojuuro has said too, it's impossible to maintain that price for a week. even for a day it will almost be impossible as you have to limit the time you are playing if you wanna extend that.

The thing is it's my bf's town and he doesn't actually play much anyway cuz he doesn't like how you make money in the game. It's too tedious for him. So I told him he can time travel so that when he gets money, he can actually enjoy playing. So he just will not play until Sunday when my island will be selling turnips, and then just earn the money that way. After that he can finally enjoy the game

I won't parrot what everyone else has said too much but I believe this came with the latest update so it will be pretty much impossible to keep it at that price unless your bf literally does not play
