How do you know you've def. finished the 16 villager cycle?

My fave. villager Lolly moved and I lost count of the cycle- how do I know I've finished th cycle so I can get her back?

Not completely sure on this, but I think that when you complete the cycle, the villager will stop showing up in Main Street..

Nope. Klaus was the first one to leave my town, and 20 villagers have left ever since, and he is still in my mainstreet.
