How do you keep your flowers from spawning everywhere? 🌱

Hi all. After it rains all flowers will reproduce and spawn all over the place. At first I was glad, because I wanted more flowers, but now I'm so over it because my island looks so messy and overgrown with flowers. I thought reproducing only happened when two flowers touched each other, but I now realise flowers will reporduce on it's own as well...

What do you do to keep your flowers in check? c:

i take my hybrids and toss them on the beach so they dont multiply. had to do this because ive spent over 2 hours once cleaning up all the flowers on my island.. dont want a repeat of that.

another thing you can do is put down transparent patterns all around your flowers! or any patterns at all.

weeds or transparent patterns! You can get some super cute transparent patterns with little flowers on them if you dont want flowers in your "wild" areas to reproduce. Fences or paths are a good way to stop hybrid breeders from over-breeding

Thank you for the tips! I'll definitely look for some cute (half)transparent patterns to contain my flowers then. And I guess I'll be spending a lot of time on my island as well. Digging up all the unwanted flowers for now. c:

I just sold some flowers that are in the wrong place or relocate them to another part of an island.

I dig them up and offer them around, otherwise I just sell them for peanuts at Nook's.
