How do you guys make tons of bells? I'm curious.

Selling TBT is how I got most of mine.

In game though, I caught beetles and sharks at the island.

I basically hit rocks, gather ores, selling random items, and that's basically it.

The island method is boring.

Through TBT, definitely. Before I started trading and had just started my game, I caught beetles on the island. But now, you can easily sell holiday/event items or sets or really anything on here for a ton of bells. Or buy a ton of turnips and then find someone who has prices at 500+. Or breed hybrids and sell them for 100k a pop. Or even sell things like art or signatures for bells! etc etc

Or go to the TBT Marketplace and sell your TBT for millions, the prices are pretty crazy atm. 10mil for 100TBT at the low end.

Without this site making bells would be much more difficult.

True! Go by this! There's at least 3 threads out there that have offer your own price for 100 BTB. You could make BANK!!!

But sometimes when I have good turnip prices I just keep buying and selling and buying and selling, etc. Sometimes for hours at a time and that can make me 50-100 million depending on how much time I have and how high the price is.

I just hunt for the rare beetles on the island. I only have one copy, and I don't generally play online with others. I didn't know you could trade TBT for IGB, either...interesting.

I used to hunt for rare beetles on the island, but this summer I made most of my money by having a shop in the Re-Tail Forum.

Selling turnips and TBT seem to be the quickest ways to earn money, though.

Fastest method would be to use the stalk market. I make 9-12 mil Bells a week, and it took me roughly 10 weeks to earn 100 million Bells.

In my second town, I'm just digging up the 4 fossils that spawn every day, get the ore from the fake rock and sell them. And in Re-Tail, I put up ores for 7,999 Bells and villager buy it (plus, they don't even display it in their house!) And occasionally go beetle hunting, and selling them to a Lazy Camper, so I can gain quadruple the price for the beetles that Reese usually charges for me huehuehue...

When a have a lucky day with turnips, I make about 10 million a day.

I found by far the easiest method for becoming rich and it helped my friend and I obtain over 100,000,000.

Basically you find someone with another DS and a town they don't care about (sad, I know) or buy another copy of AC (which you can also use as a cycling town) and borrow a friend's DS OR buy another copy of AC and another DS.

What you want to do is spent all of your money in your original town on turnips. The price doesn't matter.

Then you go into your second town and you time travel until turnip prices are really high (like 500+). This is easy because turnip prices are on a pattern. Each week will be different and there are 4 patterns. You want to study the patterns so you land on a week with an increasing pattern, then on a Thursday or Friday of that week you will see a huge spike. If you don't see the huge spike skip over that week to the next Monday. (You can study the patterns online, there are a few sites that help explain this).

Then all you do is go to that town with the high turnip spike with your mayor that you just spent all your money on turnips with and sell all of your turnips. Bam, you are rich! You can keep your secondary town on the day of the turnip spike for as long as you want, so you can keep going back and selling turnips to multiple your profit.

I got a room in the museum for ores and when they go on premium (after I have the room all filled up) I feel my pockets and get around 51,000-60,000 each trip which means I get around 200,000-300,000 depending on how many gold nugget I have. Not the best way to do it, but in my bank I have about 2 mill from doing this.

One of the more creative ways I have read for making IGB. Never would have thought of it!
