I normally throw them in the center of my room and horde them with the reasoning that I could trade these in the future, however I keep on getting them. (.__.) How do you guys deal with it?
I sell most of them, unless I see them in high demand on here. Then, I wait until I fill my spare DIY area and hold a giveaway on here or give them to my friends irl.
i save all of mine for my girlfriend (she only got the game at the end of august), give her the ones she doesn't have and sell the rest. if i get one i'm confident she already has, i just sell it automatically. i did consider keeping some of the duplicate crown/wreath DIYs for trading but i'm not a big trader and, since you can't store them, it ultimately didn't seem worth the hassle.
My beaches are littered with DIY recipes right now. I'm going to do a giveaway here once I have the time. Give it a day or two and trash the rest.
In the future I think I'll end up trashing most of them as I procure them unless it's a highly sought after recipe. My catalogue is nearing completion and the demand for recipes has gone down drastically.
99% of the time I just sell them to nook's. if it's something rare or sought after, I might save it for one of my friends or my brother, who aren't as far along in their games...but aside from that, I just hate the clutter too much to stockpile them!!
I used to dump them in my basement. Now I just dump them in the trash because I figured they may not be desired much, unlike in early Summer where I took a break playing due to joycon drift. The basement DIYS are still there though; haven’t decided what to do with them yet.
I keep duplicates of seasonal ones until my friends get a chance to go through them and then I sell the leftovers. Most of the others are sold instantly unless I know someone hunting for it.
I've started selling all the common ones to Nooks and keeping the more "rare" ones to give away online. I use to sell all types of DIYS on this website until around June-ish the demand for recipes went down significantly and I decided to simply give them away instead.
I try to trade them for recipes I still need or sell them, however I'm very on and off with trading. I don't have a good place to store them so I've just ended up piling them on my beach. It would be nice to get rid of them all one day.
