How do you get roses?

I've been to about 20 island tours with no roses. :c Is there a specific way to get them, or is it just random on the islands you go to with Nook Miles?

Everyone has their own native flower so I think you're just out of luck. I have some roses for you if you want them? Maybe we can trade flowers? Which do you have?

You can trade them with a person who has them as their native flower (I have them). I thought you can buy seeds from Timmy and Tommy, but I'm not 100% positive. I know I can, but come to think of it, I only have seen other flower seeds for hycainth flowers and tulips.

My native flower was windflower, but every island I visit seems to have roses so I have a lot. I've never been to an island that DIDN'T have roses.

I haven't seen any fruit aside from coconuts either so I think it's just luck of the draw. I keep wasting all my points on tickets and never find anything new.

Had no idea about the native flower thing when I started my town. If I had, I would have reset for something else! My island has roses and I’m more than happy to sell them to you if you need some. Your native flower is also more likely to show up on tours. I’ve only ever seen roses and pansies so far. I’m hoping to get a new type of flower soon!

I think you need to visit an island or tour with a different flower in order to unlock it in your shops. For example, day 2 I visited an island with lillies and they became available as seed bags in my stores the next day. I’ve never seen cosmos yet so they haven’t showed up in the shops. I’m not 100% sure on this but it seems to be the case for me so far.

Thank you everyone! I have windflower as my native flower but I'll try some more tours to try to find some roses. If not I'll def contact you guys who have native roses to buy some off you!
