how do you get rid of villagers

I've been not talking to my chicken for like 84 years but she refuses to leave

and I mean....I feel horrible saying that but dammit I want coco

how did you/do you get rid of villagers?

This is my method!

Step 1. Try not to talk to the villager that you want to move out it’s ok if you do it just helps me a little more!

Step 2. Time skip a month and look at residence service or near the villagers house if they don’t have a bubble go to step 3!

Step 3. If the villager didn’t have a bubble skip a day! If again No bubble skip another day and no bubble again skip once more! If ur still struggling Step 4 is the one!!

Step 4. If none of that worked save your game and make the time and date normal! Then log in take a couple steps and then set the date back a month! And then obviously log in save put the time back to og date +a day! And your villager should have a bubble!
