-Talk to all the villagers I want to keep at least once
-Go forward 4 days
-See if anyone pings
-If they do, I let them leave if they're unwanted
-If no one does, I talk to all the ones I want to keep again at least once
-Go back 4 days
-Repeat

Usually takes me around 5 minutes to get someone to leave. :)

she'll ping you when she is ready to move. say yes. if she doesn't change her mind, ignore her completely(because she might change her mind) until the day she is packing boxes in her house. then she will be gone forever.

4 days is so long though, how do you make sure no dreamies move away? :<

right now im using that fool proof guide to getting rid of a villager. and i haven't had any accidents but i still can't get kidd to ping out / get a villager to mention him wanting to leave.

I do the "greet and ignore trick" if they're an unwanted move in. For villagers I've interacted with in the past, I just ignore them completely until they ping me to move. It works better to greet and ignore though.

Just by talking to them before I TT seems to work. Sometimes they ping to move out though, which is pretty irritating :(

That's what I try to do, but I usually end up accidently talking to them. I also read that the villager that moves is completely random and does not depend on the relationship with the player.

I talked to Beau like 272829 times and I tted 2 days, he pinged me to move, ugh.

I actually follow this method which I find easiest where I talk to every single villager on one day
Then save and time travel to the next day and walk in front of the villager you want to move, do this for seven days and a villager (not necessarily the one you want to move out) will walk over to you after making a ping noise and talk to you about moving (it works really well for me) please note that other villagers could move out without telling you so make sure you walk in front of every villager everyday (if you're scared of losing one) Also if you can't find all of your villagers save and end the game and just stay it again you should be able to find them on the third rest at most.

I wish you the best of Luck :)
