How do you get Gracie to come to your town

I want to get the T&T Emporium but ever since I payed the 100,000 Bells, I've been skipping from Day to Day. I don't know what I did wrong but she's never come to my town :'(

It's completely random. She's supposed to come once per week but I ended up having to wait for 2 months because there were other events in between.

I also had this problem. It just takes patience. For me, it was around a 20 day span from each time she visited. I eventually met all of her requirements. You're not doing anything wrong, just that Gracie is so annoying to get to show up.

I think reading a lot of comments I must have got lucky, she came every week for four weeks for me....not sure why? I didn't do anything special or anything like that.
All I could suggest is to keep going day to day. Have you unlocked Katrinas shop yet? If you have then that would be one less special visitor to come by your town, leaving room for Grace

Also when you do get her to show up, you can do all 4 checks in one day. Do the first one, then TT backwards to 5:59 am. When the day rolls over, you'll be on the same date & Gracie will still be there with a new challenge. Do the new one & repeat until you do all 4.

One online friend waited 4 months for Gracie to show. She bought only items that had a sold out sign and pass 100K.
Her outfits were ready and Gracie finally showed up.

Main town it took awhile. Get Katie out of your town if she's around. She can hold up Mr. Badge Guy from arriving.
The police station said he was in town but he wasn't. Once I got rid of her he showed up right away.

Check the event plaza each time you play. In the morning Gracie wasn't at the event plaza so I quit. Played in the evening and found Gracie standing in the event plaza. Not sure what happened but was happy.

Other towns got Gracie once a week and sometimes 4 days apart.

I feel you on this. I've been waiting for her to come for about 3 weeks now. I've had Katie A LOT in my town, for no apparent reason. She's actually been there a few days a week. So I think that might have something to do with it.

That time travelling trick is really neat! Once she shows up I'll have to try it! In the meantime I guess we just have to stay positive and patient :/

If you do the trick check on all your villagers for moving after you pass the check. Leaving it on the same day and going to 559am will count as a day. I just did that trick in a town that wasn't a real one at the time. It works and goes fast because I didn't care if someone moved.
