I'm not having any luck with them and I don't know what to do.

You can find sakura recipes in balloons, messages in a bottle, or from your villagers pinging you. Unfortunately, Nintendo decided to overlap the entire sakura season with bunny day, so you're fighting bunny day balloons to find the regular balloons for sakura recipes. It's really just all luck.

So the sakura event ends around the same time as Bunny Day? I wonder how that will work next year: If the events are always on the same dates, it will always be a chore to get the recipes?

Cherryblossoms go away on the 11th, I think. We have until April 1st to April 10th.

Sakura season ends April 10. If you time skip to 2021, Bunny Day isn't active then so we really have no idea how it'll run next year. All the events are being done online and by update in this game so we're at Nintendo's mercy with that lol

Stay on the side of the beach and grind them! There are a few nice guides out here on the forum! Or look for people who would craft them for free for you or for some money.
