I'm a bit worrid about turnips, last time I bought LOADS and them time traveled xD . Right now I'm on the wrong date, so when I get the right one I might try that again.

I beetle grind, sell hybrids & streetpass items and do lots of turnip trading. I beetle grind less now after turnip trading, I started off with using my money from beetle grinding to buy turnips. I was super resisted to spend my money on upgrades for my house or something but I held out haha.

I catch bugs at the island at night. It can be extremely boring though, especially when no beetles will spawn.

I grow a bunch of peaches all around my town (my native fruit is pears). I usually don't rush to get money, but if I want to buy something off the forums in IGB I'll make a few trips to the island for beetles if I need to.

I have a lot of perfect pear orchards in my town. So far, I've found that to be the easiest way to earn bells. I also beetle farm when I have time, or buy and sell turnips.

I used the island at first and got about 400k every trip. Then I discovered this forum and I sold items I didn't want, also when I bought a second copy I starting selling villagers. I've made most of my money by selling tier one and two villagers I would say. And I'm close to the ABD in home and I can't wait

When I first started out I got all my money from the island. Made close to a million each night.
Once I had enough saved up I tried turnips but it didn't work out until I purchased a 2nd town. That town bought turnips when my group posted that they had high prices. Made a lot of bells.

I do like harvesting the perfect fruit trees. Last night I made over 10 million bells when I sold the perfect oranges at premium.
I usually do the harvesting when I watch TV. Shake the fruit and leave it on the ground. Replace all the dead trees.
When they grow back I pick up the perfect fruit off the ground and that goes in the locker. Than I go back shake all the trees and replace the dead ones. Just leave the fruit until it grows back again. The town that I do this in doesn't have an perfect rating so I don't have to worry about picking things up.

I personally had the time to do a ton of trades and cash in a ton of profit. Turnips are definitely the most profitable and also the most reliable given you can network on the ACNL Online sub or use a subreddit effectively.
