How do you furnish your home?

I plan on a sleek living room, astro bedroom and sci-fi basement. Not sure on the other three rooms yet. My Nintendo items are all in the museum though as they don't really fit my house I don't think...

I have a living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen/bathroom, 7-11 room and I'm not sure what I'm going to put in the last room.
No, I do not have a Nintendo room, I find the Nintendo items to be incredibly boring. D;

My main room is very futuristic-y (Using a refurbished astro set with sci-fi wall/floor)
I ended up throwing all my Nintendo items in a Museum exhibit

I tried to make my house as realistic/livable as possible, No ugly Nintendo rooms for me.
I have a living room, den, bedroom and study. Somehow ended up using the classic series in 3 of my rooms because it looks so nice! I'm not doing my house any justice right now, you should really just see for yourself (dream code in sig)

I've decorated my house with sets. Some people would argue that this layout makes it seem less like a house and more like a display, but I enjoy seeing the different sets in each individual room. There's something special about the feeling that you get when you obtain a completed set.
I have an exhibit at the museum dedicated to my Nintendo items. I didn't want to take up space in my house with them but I couldn't bare to part with my hard-earned rare items, so now they're being safeguarded by Celeste.
