I heard people saying about farming tarantulas for bells but how do you do that and is there a specific time you do it

They spawn after 7pm so try to go to a Nook Island past 7pm with 0 rivers on it (waterbugs ruin the spawns).

Cut down all the trees pick all the flowers dig up all the stumps until you have 0 places where bugs can spawn.

Tarantulas should spawn more often bc the only criteria they have to spawn is that its past 7pm.

Thank youuuu

The best island to do this with is a bamboo island since you only need to cut down the coconut trees on the beach, and pluck the flowers. The only other bugs you'd need to worry about then are mole crickets, tiger beetles, and wharf roaches.

You can still farm with ponds or rivers on the map, you just have the tedious trouble of having to deal with water bugs during April through to September. They affect the tarantula spawns. If you don't mind making a little less money, you can catch the water bugs too, or even keep the coconut trees to grab atlas moths. Really depends how much patience you have.
