How do you choose who to let go in your town?

Just curious to see what you guys do when you decide to let someone leave in your town. I'm trying to make room for Marina right now and i'm debating who to let go in my town. I'm either letting Molly, Willow or Zucker go because i like all my other animals too much to let them go.

Honestly I just talk to them to see their personalities and if they do something funny or cute. I was considering letting Whitney go, but then one day she randomly popped into my house and now she'll be staying in my town forever.
If I were to choose out of the three villagers you mentioned, though, I'd let go of Molly since you already have a lot of normals. c:

Hmm I mainly consider personality type & design.

E.g. right now I have Marshal & Colton in my town, and I think I ultimately want to let go of Colton, even though I like him a lot, I just feel I like Marshal that much more and 2 smug personalities is a bit tiring.

Oh yeah the signature needs to be updated. I have Fang now instead of Lolly so 2 crankies, 2 normals, 1 lazy (not a fan of the lazy personality at all), 1 jock, 1 peppy, 1 smug, 1 uchi, and 1 snooty (i liked willow more in city folk)

lol i dont care for my current villagers so when they ask, i let them. i have a set of predetermined dreamies so i wont have to struggle about who to let go

Molly was in a LP i liked alot and she was really cute/sweet all the time so she was a dreamie. Chevre was my favorite villager in ACWW so she's staying. Pietro was also in the LP so he's staying. Chief is my favorite cranky so he's staying and i just got Fang so i doubt he'll leave. Hunting Sprinkle down was so worth it in the end and Muffy's crazy ideas make me laugh so she's staying. So it's all really hard. The normal personality is my favorite (they're such sweethearts) so that's why i don't mind having a few than typical

Who's done the least to warrant staying? Is there anyone that you find acts boring or who you have no reason to like other than the way they look? If you have no funny or cute memories of a villager it's best to let them go.

That would be either Willow or Zucker. I personally don't like the lazy personality and Zucker and i hardly talked. I was willing to let Molly go to the person who is holding Marina for me. They were fine with taking Zucker though so i just have to see who wants out first

I first go by how much they match my town, then how much I like or dislike their personality.

Well, I have ten dreamies, so any villager who isn't a dreamie can leave whenever they want, lol.

In your case, I think you should let Zucker go.
