How do you all still enjoy Pokemon X and Y

Thanks for all of your replies everyone! ^^ I might buy Pokemon Y and and get a free game from the Bestbuy deal next week. I have done too much on X to restart. Was the black and white post game that good? Maybe I shouldn't have skipped that generation... ><

I haven't played in a couple of months. I'm bored. Most of my teams are level 100 or very close, I've completed the Pokedex and have most of a living Pokedex, I have a shiny foreign Ditto for breeding and other than competitive stuff, there is really nothing left for me to do. I'm disappointed there wasn't more of a postgame than there was.

Black and White 2 had the best postgame, IMO (aside from Gold/Silver I suppose, if you consider another region postgame). Plus they had the World Tournament, or whatever it's called, where you get to fight tournaments against all regions' gym leaders and eventually Champions. It's super, super fun.

I was really disappointed with x and y as I finished the game in 3 days with little effort.
It's just soo...easy and dull to me?
I personally thought the first pokemon were more of a challenge with games and puzzles.
Haven't touched x in months. <,<)

Yeah I thought X was pretty bad.
I can't keep a permanent file. I always restart.
I agree, the post-game was horrendous.

Yea I only kept the X file to go on shiny hunts. It's just so disappointing, by comparison to past games.

I only got X/Y because of that free promotion back in March, and I finished the main story in like 2 days and was extremely disappointed in the post-game (I probably wouldn't even call it a post game - catching the few legends, finding the mega-stones, and like only one town that was new doesn't really cut it for me). Besides the fantastic graphics, the game wasn't that exciting for me and I don't really feel like battling nor filling the pokedex.

Yea for the first time, it felt more like fan service, than a full game :(. I like to do more stuff post-game and be able to rebattle people. And both were missing this time around.

I gave up on it a while back after completing the game. Honestly, I couldn't be bothered to complete the rest of the Pokedex, so I ended up selling it while it goes for a high-ish price. It's been like that for all of the Pokemon games I've played, since I just get bored after completing the story.

After awhile I gave up on it. It just doesn't seem that fun after beating it millions of times. :l I think when OR/AS comes out I'll just transfer my good 'mons to X, sell Y and get OR.

Although the main storyline was lackluster (especially compared to B/W) and could've been better, I still play because of the online battles. I find it fun to build up a team and strategy and see how it fairs with others. I think the game promotes online battling more than the previous installments.

Can't wait for OR/AS to see if they improve on that :)

I've been more focused with ACNL, especially since getting my second copy. But I could never part with my Pokemon X because of all the awesome pokemon I've collected. I'd love to complete the pokedex, but I'm not really actively trying.
But usually I just play when I go to conventions. I've IV bred a team of pokemon and EV trained them and, while I'm not the best competitive battler, I can still win sudden challenges.
My favorite thing is getting challenged and setting the rules.
ONLY one pokemon in the battle, one round. Go in with 6 so the opponent doesnt know which one you'll choose, and start the battle. I almost always surprise them with my Garchomp bby.

i randomly do online battles. single only and it's fun seeing my IV bred team destroy other IV bred teams. other than that i'm patiently waiting for ORAS. been playing pokemon for my whole life and i can honestly say X and Y was the biggest pokemon disappointment i've ever experienced.

Completing the Pok?dex and filling up the dex with Pok?mon in my bank is my main goal. Like, get Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur and just fill the boxes with Pok?mon by Pok?mon. Now I'm at around ~620. Mostly missing the legendaries since I skipped some generations and only came back to X and Y (no Pearl/Platinum, Black/White or Black 2/White 2). Though since gettin AC:NL I've come to spend more time with the town than the Pok?dex x)

Pokemon X and Y were too easy for a new Pokemon player like me. I started to become good, but now I stopped playing because there's not much to do now. (Except game chatting with friends :p)

I've gotten back into competitive battling! That's really what there is to do in X/Y when you complete all the main and side quests...
I've been breeding Pokemon for myself and using them for Supers at the Battle Maison or random online battles. I want to start participating in the online competitions that they hold as well!

After I beat the game for the first time, I deposited all of my Pokemon in Pokemon Bank, and then I started a new save file with 12 team members that I rotate out instead of 6. Once I beat this one, I'll probably do the same, all while trying to complete the Pokedex in the long run.

The first time I played through them I thought they were good, I liked Pokemon Amie and Super Training, and how easy it was to connect with others over Wi-Fi, but the storyline was dull and disappointing. The post-game with Looker was okay, I guess. For a while I started trying to complete the Kalos Pokedex, by creating a team that was perfect for the field and catching Pokemon. I have a Level 100 Smeargle called Mozart which was bred and EV trained to max out attack and speed, and taugh Soak, Spore, False Swipe and Gastro Acid so it could catch any Pokemon. I remember that took so long to do! Next I went on to Teddiursa, which is also Level 100, called Cuddles. It's for hoard battles, and has Sweet Scent, Earthquake, Rock Slide and Surf, I believe. It also has Pickup. I use it to EV train Pokemon I want to battle with competitively. I'm think of using an Inkay, Gothorita, Linoone and one other Pokemon on my team, and then going through the whole of Kalos and catching every Pokemon and getting every item so that I can start breeding shinies I want :3 Then I'm going to start putting together a competitive team.

But I'm really really really excited about Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire because Ruby and Sapphire were the first Pokemon games I ever played.

It was fun. For a week.

Then I beat the game and now I'm bored as heck.

Now all I do is chain-fish and breed for shinies c:
