How do people get so many bells?

Stalk market. Literally the most amazing thing if you have two ds's or a stalk market partner willing to TT For high prices. Earned 100mil+ in four days after school going until 4am with nearly a full storage each run. ^~^

You could also if you have a partner/ds for this plant a perfect fruit orchard and collect them all go to another town and you can earn 300k+ each full inventory or so

Those methods I use, Bug catching takes too long and I get bored easily ><

For those who play the stalk market, do some towns just never sell high and always seem to have low turnip prices? I swear turnips are almost always under 100 bells here, and Retail would never *ever* pay more than maybe 120 at the highest. Usually Reese is all, I'll give 50 you bells... I stopped buying them because they weren't netting me anything. Is it easy to find another town to sell them in consistently on the boards?

Okay so the most I've ever had on New Leaf is about 300,000 bells.
Most of the people on here have got like 1 million or more.
Please tell me how you got that many bells?

"most people" have more than 1 million bells
You're not wrong
But they have a bit more over a 1million wells
I made one million last night (I switched to Bell Boom to make gold roses ayeeee) and yeah
I'll probably use it to buy turnips and turn it into 5 million or something idk
Beetle hunting is quick but slow try that I can make more than what you in one run lol3

1 hour beetle/shark hunting: 320,000+ bells (Usually ~350,000 bells for me)

You can make alot of bells from lazy campers.
Check online for information. I haven't tried it but friends have.

I get mine from having an extra town. It's a harvest town that TT forward to get more perfect fruit.
Get alot of high price turnip or perfect fruit there.
Read that if alot of visitors sell one type of perfect fruit alot you'll get it premium more often.
Friend sold her perfect peaches in her other town. She now get perfect peaches alot.

- sell the bugs you get on the island. morning or night !! they are very expensive, as the sharks. you can get arround 300k per hour.

- buy and sell turnips ! If they are cheaper than 100bells it's a good price. check the forums (Train Station) searching for towns where they sell high. Or check your own town, the prices change 2 times per day.

- plant perfect fruits !! This one is pretty easy. Just plant lots of your native perfect fruit. Remember that the trees die after some time, so always keep some perfect fruits w/ you. They sell high in towns where they aren't the native fruit. Just visit another town and sell them !! (if they are premium or town is bell boom, you gotta get lots of money !! )

- in forums (like this one) ppl sells likes everything. Villagers are usually expensive
