Trading How do people do this?

I appologize if this has been asked before, but i’m wondering how people get their dreamies in NH. In NL it seemed easier because you could wait until one of your villagers asked to leave, and then immediately purchase whichever villager you wanted on here. Now it seems like it is not possible to find the villager you want immediately, so do you wait for your villager to move out and just stay on the day that you have an empty plot until you can purchase the villager you want to replace them? The timing seems difficult.

basically thats the gist because if you trade or visit someone using online play, you will get their void villager immediately next day! random move ins are different since they take a few days to buy your plot.

So most people as soon as they have a free plot they island hop, and if nothing they want shows up, they go online to purchase their dreamie or something that is good enough to move in! ( so they don't get a void villager)

I usually ask for a villager when i have 10 villagers or an empty plot. if i have 10 villagers then i work on TTing one out in time to replace it the same day/day after.

The timing is really awkward unfortunately, you need to be fast. It helps to grind out as many tickets as possible between move-outs so you have some saved up for your next free plot.
