How do I start the wedding event?

Can someone pretty please tell me how to start the wedding event? I am at the latest update but nothing is starting for me? People on youtube are already doing it and I am very excited for these furniture pieces. Thank you

Don't you just go to Harvey's Island?

It start when it's 12am 1st june on the timezone of your Nintendo account and 5am 1st June on the game/switch clock. Harvey will call you and Isabelle makes an announcement.

just clearing this up: the event unlocks when it's midnight irl but the game has to be on a new day for it to trigger, and as you know it's only a new day at 5am ^^

if the youtubers are american they probably have an australian account or smth (like I do)

They have been dating for months on my island (or I am convinced that they are as they always hang and were at eachother s birthdays ❤)

I think you just need to go to Harvs island. But it might need to be a new day too so you need to wait till 5am (or just time travel if your into that!)
