How do I make profit from turnips?

I'm going to start buying turnips to make a profit. I've never bought any, so I'm kinda new. I have over 15 million in the bank, but I want to increase that. How many do you think I should buy, and how much to sell for? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated!

Buy low, sell high.

I think buy at around 100 and sell at 500ish.

If you don't time travel, then no it's not really too rare. But it's not super common either. It's just one of those inbetween things! But I'm sure it's more common to find them a little below 300.

Oh I haven't sold any myself but I'm always keeping an eye on the stalk market threads. I've seen some people making 20 mil+ from an inventory full of turnips.

If you have wifi you hunt the forums until you find someone buying them at 500+ the most I sold mine for was 601 bells.

My method is to have all my closet space empty.
On Saturday night I fill my pockets with at least 1million bells.
Sunday morning I find Joan and buy 1million bells worth of turnips.
(I buy as many as my pockets will hold then I drop them on the ground and keep buying until I run out of money, then when I am done buying I run all the turnips on the ground to my closets)
Starting on Monday I look for turnip selling prices on here and I also check my own retail in the morning and afternoon...I try to sell at 500+ unless it is Friday and I haven't sold them then I find the highest price online and sell them.
Last batch I bought 1million worth of turnips and made 5.9 million off them...I leave a tip if buying from someones town, most do not ask for any money but appreciate if you give them something.

3 million bell here, but mostly because I don't purchases lots of turnips like others do.

@catman: Can't go back in time is what I've heard and past Saturday leaves you with some problems.

I don't time travel at all and find you don't really need to to make bells. But, to each his own.

And if you run out of closet space you can always use a museum exhibit as a makeshift turnip silo!

TTing forward does not ruin turnips. I know because I often TT back to Sunday, buy turnips and TT back to present day.

Yeah I don't time travel either, rather be patient.

My first turnip profit was 700k bells. Then I save 300k on my account just for turnips. The more profit I start getting, the more I save just for turnips. Nothing too hasty!

One time I time traveled, my turnip died!

I remember changing my 3ds time because I never fixed it since daylight saving, then I went the AC and it went back an hour too and I put it back an hour. All my turnips died.
