How do I get villagers to ask me to come to their house?

I have sent them countless of shirts so I imagine their houses are full of them. How can I get invited in to get rid of them? Is there a guide or an easy fast way?

Sometimes they'll ask you to come over when they 'ping' you, so you could potentially do the diving method. Otherwise it just seems to be random when talking to them. Whenever they ask for a favour, there's the chance they will ask you to come over (or visit you).

Edit: plus a bonus of the diving method is easy PWPs.

There's no trick.
No guide.

Just talk to them normally, and they may ask you on the spot.

It's not always by pinging.

It's all random, my villagers rarely want me to visit their houses.

Just send stuff in place of the clothes, especially if they are missing a lot of their furniture.

My villagers constantly ask me over.
Probably because I normally say 'no'. ^_^

Lol I always say no as well. It feels like now that I actually want to come over...they have stopped asking.

Also, is it possible to be able to buy two items from one visit ? Or will they only let me buy one?

You can only buy one item per visit.
Mine usually invite me within normal conversation, it's rarer with pings, in my experience.
