How do I get Smash Villager's items?

I tried to get the items from the Smash Brothers Villager from wisp. But he disappeared and didn't give me anything. How am I going to get the items?

I tried to get the items from the Smash Brothers Villager from wisp. But he disappeared and didn't give me anything. How am I going to get the items?

Go to the campsite. Wisp should have gone to try and get the villager, but had to settle for the next best thing when getting the RV.
