How do I get Leif to give me a hybrid bag?

Sorry, I don't mean fertilizer. I mean a bag of flower seeds, like the ones you buy from Leif, only they are for hybrid flowers instead of normal ones. I have heard that you can get them on weeding day, but I never seem to get one. So I'm wondering what I am doing wrong.

When there are around 30-60 weeds in your town, then Leif will appear by your home once you start up the game then will time you on how fast you can pick all of the weeds. After that, she'll either give you a weeding day set item or a hybrid bag, I believe :3

Growing hybrids the normal way works much faster though.
You just need to have many flowers to create more chances of one spawning.

Yes, I know. I do grow lots of hybrids. Its just that hybrid bags are one of the things I haven't been able to get yet in the game, so I would kind of like to be able to.

Yes, I would love if he gave blue roses! It would be sort of like spawning my own, which I have not been able to do. I have lots, but grown from one I was given as a gift.
