How do I access amiibos in Happy Homes Paradise DLC

I want to add amiibo villagers I have to the Happy Home Paradise resort with the new DLC but I'm not sure how to do that. Has anyone figured it out yet? I can't find the amino machine like the one in Brewsters and Harvs island.

You'll most likely unlock it as you progress through the DLC.

You need to complete five houses before you unlock the amiibo scanner, iirc.

I completed five houses but I can't find it, is there an area they put it in or does Lottie talk about it?

After you finish x number of houses 10 or less, Lottie will say something about it and explain you how to use it, you can't miss it, it will be in the front desk. Once you call the amiibo you will start the consultation right away

That can't be right... I think I've only done 14 houses, and I have access to it.

I just checked and it was house 11 I got the option to change the polish, and I got it a few houses after that.

There isn't but there is after 10
